Course Overview

In the Recitation course, students will be made familiar with the rules of Tajweed and its correct application when reciting the Quran.

 

The teacher will go over each rule with the students in an effective and simplified manner, utilising proven approaches to improve their grasp of the subject. Students will be assigned homework and exercises for each lesson to help them deepen and enhance their comprehension of the rules and their application.

 

The teacher will keep the students engaged throughout the lesson through practical demonstrations and by using interactive methods. The course is structured and designed to cater to students of all different levels.

 

There will also be sessions dedicated to Quran reading and memorising selected parts of the Quran. The teacher will provide students with one-to-one support and direction to help them fulfill their aims and achieve their goal of correctly reciting the Holy Quran while avoiding making major and minor errors.

Course Objectives

Objective 1

To attain fluency in the recitation of the Quran

Objective 2

To learn the necessary theoretical rules to ensure no major or minor mistakes occur during recitation.

Objective 3

Strong emphasis in applying the rules of Tajweed in Surahs commonly recited in Salah.

Moulana Salahuddin

Usatdh Salahuddin completed his Hifdh of the Holy Quran in London Islamic School, Fordsquare, in 2006. 

He then went on to pursue the Alimiyyah program in Madinatul Uloom Al-Islamiya, Kidderminster, and graduated in 2012. 

Ever since graduating, he has been serving the community and kept himself active in various different roles. 

Current roles and responsibilities:

  • Alimiyyah and Hadith course teacher at Mazahirul Uloom
